TECHNOLOGY
Star Signal Solutions develops and maintains the essential technologies and expertise required to address the growing challenge of space traffic management—including observation, orbital analysis, database development, and collision-avoidance systems. By providing spaceobject observation and orbit-analysis services, as well as collision-avoidance navigation solutions, we support the next generation of safe and sustainable space operations.
Image and Orbit Analysis
Using our proprietary orbit-determination technologies, we accurately identify the trajectories of space objects and predict their future orbits with high precision.

- SOLUTION
-
Star Signal Solutions conducts advanced research and development on atmospheric-density models—an essential component in calculating atmospheric drag—to deliver highly accurate orbital-prediction products. By statistically estimating uncertainties within the mathematical models used for orbit determination, we also provide realistic orbit-error assessments. These capabilities enable sophisticated and reliable collision-risk evaluation.
- FEATURE
-
We continuously update our dynamic atmospheric-density model using proprietary observation data, further enhancing the accuracy of our orbital predictions. In addition, we perform a wide range of advanced orbit-analysis tasks, all of which can be delivered in formats compliant with the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) standards.
- Generation of ephemerides and orbital parameters based on arbitrary orbit information, including error covariance.
- Conversion of ephemerides (position and velocity) into latitude-longitude-altitude histories or Keplerian-element histories.
- Generation of TwoLine Elements (TLEs) from orbital ephemerides.
- Visibility analysis from any optical observation station.
- Simulation of pseudo-observation data for optical tracking.
- Initial orbit determination using our proprietary techniques.
- High-precision orbit determination using multistation observations, including simultaneous estimation of parameters related to atmospheric drag and solar radiation pressure.

Protecting satellites from collisions with other objects requires highly accurate orbital prediction. To achieve this, two elements are essential:
- generating orbit predictions that closely approximate the true orbit, and
- estimating realistic orbital uncertainties.
Space Object Database
We are developing a largescale space-object database that includes uncatalogued objects smaller than 10 cm.

To prevent spacetraffic accidents and protect the orbital environment, comprehensive Space Situational Awareness (SSA) is essential—identifying and cataloging the vast number of objects traveling through space.
OVERVIEW
By combining advanced imageanalysis technologies with a cost-effective observation network, we are building a unique and robust catalog of space objects.
